Terms and conditions
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following terms and conditions apply to products and services provided on the conclusion of agreements to purchase from Marianne Beck Executive Career Coaching, hereinafter referred to as Marianne Beck.
Rights
Marianne Beck holds all rights to materials provided as part of coaching programmes, workshops and presentations, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The client obtains the right of use to the material. This right of use is personal. All materials are for personal use only and may not be shared with or transferred to a third party.
Prices
All prices are stated in US Dollars (USD) exclusive of VAT. Payment can also be made in GBP, DKK and EUR according to the rate of exchange at the time of payment.
Terms of payment
The terms of payment for Marianne Beck are 8 days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. In the event of late payment, interest may be charged in accordance with the provisions of the Danish legislation on interest rates in force at any time. Payment for coaching programmes is due on conclusion of the agreement to purchase and prior to the first coaching session, unless otherwise agreed in writing. You have the option of paying by instalments. In this case, the first instalment is payable on conclusion of the agreement to purchase. The purchase is binding once you have paid the first instalment.
Right of withdrawal
The deadline for cancelling a coaching programme is 14 days from conclusion of the agreement to purchase, unless the first coaching session takes place before the end of the 14-day period, in which case your right of withdrawal expires.
If you or your employee terminates an ongoing coaching programme before all sessions have been held, Marianne Beck will not refund payment for the remaining sessions, regardless of the reason why the programme was terminated. However, the remaining coaching sessions can be converted into on-boarding support when starting a new job.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to business clients.
Cancellation policy
Coaching sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the agreed time to meet, unless otherwise agreed and/or if a force majeure arises. Marianne Beck cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect loss the client might incur in such situations.
Workshops and presentations cancelled later than 14 days prior to the scheduled event will be invoiced in full. The event may be rescheduled by written agreement. If a new date cannot be agreed, and the original date for the workshop or presentation is less than 14 days away, the full fee will be invoiced.
Confidentiality
Marianne Beck undertakes to treat as confidential any information, details and other material that come into the possession of Marianne Beck as part of a coaching programme, workshops and presentations. Client details, information and material are not shared with third parties without the client’s express permission.
Liability
Any liability in damages that Marianne Beck and the company Marianne Beck may incur in relation to coaching, workshops and presentations is limited to direct loss and damage. However, the amount in damages can never exceed 50% of the price paid, excl. VAT. Marianne Beck is not liable for any indirect loss or damage. The waiver of liability for indirect loss and damage applies regardless of the type of liability in damages and regardless of ordinary negligence on the part of Marianne Beck.
Disclaimer
Results are not guaranteed from the use of coaching programmes with Marianne Beck, though I genuinely believe that its contents will help you reach your goal. Like with any programme, your results are limited by your willingness to take action as well as factors outside of your control and my control. By enrolling in any coaching programmes, you are fully aware and take responsibility for creating your own results holding Marianne Beck and the company Marianne Beck harmless.
